A house made from beer cans

Study indicates male brain four per cent faster

Canadian researchers examining the speed at which the brain works found a secondary discovery -- the male brain works slightly faster than a female one. [CTV.ca]

Perhaps this is working on the less brain cells you have (due to booze) the more efficient your brain is, theory.

I used to believe...

I had a strange fear that if I closed my eyes in the bathtub, William Shakespeare would come up through the drain and kill me. I knew his name, but I had no idea who he was, so I just naturally assumed he was some sort of bathtub vampire. [IUsedToBelieve.com

How crap is your connection?

These days most people have a broadband connection, so why not relive your youth... or 2 years ago, and see what it was like with a 28.8Kbps modem? You could even try a 0.3Kbps connection if you so desired. I'd recomend painting a wall and watching it dry and maybe applying a 2nd coat before being so bored you'd try this, 'Digital Devide Simulator'. But there is a vaguely interesting map or 'Digital Access Index' of how well connected different areas of the world are.

Did you know you can get paint that is pink when applied but dry's white...?!

Holy double-entendre Batman!

Batman’s Dark Past: Yes, once upon a time, comic books could innocently use dialogue like: “I’m worrying about the boner he’s readying for you!”

E Z Chicken Harvester

Position of rotating drums hydraulically adjustable for: various chicken sizes, distance between drums, speed of rotation of the 11.5" rubber fingers and height for house conditions. Drive wheels on drum assembly are hydraulically driven and steered independent of main power unit. [Bright Coop, Inc.]
There was a movie clip here, but it appears to have been removed. There'll be copies out there someplace.

EDIT: view the demo film here... CAUTION: Viewer descretion is advised, not that any chickens are harmed it seems..well, they remain alive anyway. It would surely feel like being sucked up by a Dyson! It is so wrong.

I think I see MC Hammer in my loaf of bread?!?!

I'm not for sure but I think I see MC Hammer in my bread?!?!
We have asked several family members and friends and they think they can make out his face too. Is it our eyes playing tricks on us? After all this is just an ordinary loaf of cinnamon raisin bread straight out of my handy dandy bread maker but when my husband was slicing a piece he stopped mid-stroke sure as heck that something beyond a little yeast and flour was catching the very eye he sees with. Of course I couldn't quite make it out at first but when he held it just right, kinda tilted towards the light I could surely make out the very image. As I went to inspect the strange likeness my husband screamed "Honey stop! YOU CAN'T TOUCH THIS!" and inadvertently spun around and did the running man to get away from my grasping fingers. I said you do that again buster and it's hammer time! But ya'll don't worry we didn't have a throw down or anything he just didn't want me to smudge Hammers face before he could see if anyone else could see it.Please keep in mind that the face was very difficult to photograph as it is not clearly visible to the naked eye without the proper lighting and angle, we did take several pictures in the hopes that one of you fellow eBayers could see the image too and in turn would like to take it off our hands. Now we know that there will be those of you out there that can not see MC's face and we took that in to consideration before we listed this. Please keep an open mind and use your imagination when trying to spot his face. Naysayers and non-believers beware because The Hammer is there! And if any of you notice anything about him that we haven't please do enlighten us. My kids want us to cut further in the bread to see if anyone else has taken up residence but hubby says NO this is a phenomenon beyond anything imaginable and we should just leave well enough alone.Anywho, American Idol is about to come on so if you wanna pass this amongst yourselves and bid a time or two we would be much obliged.Winning bidder please tack on $5.00 for the shipment of your loaf. We accept PayPal, money orders and checks. Thanks, happy bidding and may we all experience a little bit of hammer time! OH YEAH....wait a minute....don't go yet....I just remembered that this thing is food so I will keep it in the freezer for ya! [EBay.com]
