The Bug: Part III

Ugghhhh.... whatever J had last Sunday, I got on Friday. So, J didn't have food poisoning and if it's the same bug that Bec, Poll, Muz and Bleaz had, we feel very sorry for you and you did very well coping while you were here or on your flight home. This bug has taken out a good portion of J's co-workers - she was the first it seems, but luckily she wasn't at work when it struck, unlike some of the others ("Caution, wet floor"). It does seem a harsher strain than what the UK people had, as we were all rather, how shall I say ... explosive. I was 'taken out' suddenly on Thursday evening at about 9pm and it was a display of sickness (think The Exorcist) until about 4.30am. The next day was just a case of waiting out the aches, the fever and the 'runs' to the bathroom. Saturday, I was mostly ok, just starting to eat again, rehydrate and regain my energy. Now, I'm back to normal. So that's my doctors report. Hopefully J's mom has avoided it, she's fine so far and hopefully you will be all ok. Good night. Sleep tight.
